Another adventure imminent! Advance warning!

So, The Hermitage or the Jimmy Hendrix Blues Club? The Church of the Saviour of the Spilled Blood  or Beer Geek? An excursion with a roofer, or a ramble by the river Neva? What can one possibly do on a three day visit to St.Petersburg?

Perhaps these options are not mutually exclusive. Perhaps Miss Sementsova can persuade me to scramble across the roof top of a four storey building in a slightly illegal sight-seeing trip, or perhaps she will settle for the roof-terrace of the Marinsky Theatre.
Perhaps the travel guitar will be taken out of its case and played in public accompanying a rendition of Big Black Dog Blues, perhaps not.

Perhaps. Peut-être. Может быть.

And then of course there will be the Sapsan rail journey to Moscow, in the company of the St.Petersburg brunettes, a reunion in Leningradskaya station, a night in a hostel and three in an apartment, more brunettes and an intimate concert with M.Pelletier and Mme Lamontagne.

Throughout my visit I will be undertaking painstaking research into the availability of real ales in St.Petersburg and Moscow, for an article to be included in the 50th edition of CAMRA-Angle.

If you would care to follow my fourth visit to Russia, the first being fifty-one years ago, please feel free to follow my blog. There may even be a vlog posting or two, since Alena is determined to turn me into a YouTuber.
